Making Innovative Use of Existing Space

In this luxury Bertram 54, Glacier made novel use of existing space by adapting it for needed refrigeration.

While this sport-fisher had galley refrigeration, its cockpit offered no area for cooling drinks and perishables. To create it, Glacier converted a storage locker under the vessel’s stairs into an area for a new cooling system.

Challenges included routing gaskets and designing the refrigeration unit for spaces with irregular angles.
